SQUIRREL ON WOOD "AUTUMN GOLD PECAN"

RABBIT ON WOOD "NATURAL PALM"

Last weekend we went to Home Depot, and I found free wood samples, I took a big bunch because my first idea was "paint on it!" and I started a series of illustrations with ink and acrylic :) This is so fun! This tone is "Natural Palm"

 

FLAME FISH AND HOLY SPIRIT

Autumn has so many gifts and I started to pick some. Collecting big leaves to make paintings and believe me, is so relaxing to paint on it. I made a flame fish (that kind of fish or name I think does not exist but that is how I called because looks like a flame.

That same day my sister´s friend request me a leaf with a special painting of the Holy Spirit, I think that is awesome when I can inspire people and they enjoy with my work, now the last leaf was sold! and I would love to keep painting on this beautiful natural canvas.

I painted this owl on a black leaf, painting on leaves is my new fav activity :)

HUNGARIAN PIGEON

Months ago my husband bought me a mini canvas, I wanted to paint gemstones but then I saw this bird on NatGeo photos and I knew it, the Hungarian pigeon had to be on mi mini. It took me less than 30 minutes to finish, I can definitely become a fan of painting on these little squares.

M. WITH FLOWERS

Few months I started to sketch a little with graphite and watercolor, the mix of faces with flowers was nice to experiment, I definitely need to do more.

NEW TESOROS

Im super happy with the things that Im doing, every day new ideas on my head, I want to do a world of goodies but I know that I need to go slow because Im learning and getting better. Sometimes you know the path, but knowledge is not enough, you must embrace it and make it yours.

GROTTO OF THE REDEMPTION

We spend my birth day traveling, almost all day driving, and this was our destination "The Grotto of the Redemption" The day was so humid and cloudy, but the beauty of the stones and quartz isn´t opaqued by nothing.

The Grotto is frequently considered the “Eighth Wonder of the World” and The Iowan magazine has described the Grotto as a “Miracle in Stone.” The location was placed on the National Register of Historical Places in 2001 and has been included in such features as Roadside America and Disney’s The Straight Story. A composite of nine separate grottos, each portrays a scene in the life of Christ. The largest man-made Grotto in the world, the Grotto contains the largest collection of precious stones and gems found anywhere in one location!"
