Transition

 

I have started a new painting, I was working during the equinox a sketch related to the spring, the new beginning, flowers, colors, new light and warmth. I will be sharing bits of my process from my new piece. 👩🏻‍🎨🎨.

A new approaching I have seen… I have been working shapes and colors in a different way, or at least I can feel this, everything is more loose, despite the usual blends I have added a lot of juxtaposed brushstrokes, a mix of figurative and abstraction, so far I’m so excited with this piece. 👩🏻‍🎨🎨🌸.

I was working during the equinox a sketch related to the spring, the new beginning, flowers, colors, new light and warmth.

When I was making and painting this piece I felt like a change was so needed, after the lockdown I needed to hatch to spread my wings and fly to the adventure of a new chapter. With the change of season I thought how accurate was to paint this, because was not intentional to paint according the change but it happened naturally. I just felt right and surprised about being working with colorful flowers, a woman that I see like a representation of new energy and beautiful things to come. Intuitively I chose the white owl, then after a few days I was looking about the meaning of the owl and I was so surprised to find out this:

A white owl represents the law
of nature: everything that is born eventually dies and is reborn again in a different form.

White owls symbolize change,
transformation, and inner wisdom. The color white also symbolizes purity and innocence, representing light.

Now, that my painting is finished I can understand how I have downloaded the information from the ethereal word to the manifestation. The clues were always there and I just connected to make them visibles through this special painting..

Hello my dear people! Today I want to share a little bit about what inspires me: 💐🌼🌸🌻🌼🌸🌺 I took this self picture last week and the flowers yesterday, I went for a walk (so much needed!) and I saw amazing flowers, it’s amazing the effect that flowers can make on me, I like to paint flowers of course, but nature colors are totally stunning, no mater if I see it like a flower, a tree or just weed. Walking yesterday listening music, watching nature was like being enjoying life in slow motion. 😊.

Transition is something that we always do, sometimes unconsciously, one of the best ways to experience transition is being grateful, changes always makes us grow and learn. Transitions leads us to new discoveries, and when I was painting this piece I discover once more that I can. 🌸

Beltane at Glastonbury 2022

 

One of my favorite places is The chalice well gardens, I could spend hours here because each spot is amazing, the nature, the sounds, the energy and the peace makes you heal. 💚

Happy Beltane Day! We had rain but the sunshine in our spirits, what a blessed day to celebrate nature, the earth, sky and the elements. So happy to be back in the Isle of Avalon! 🧙‍♂️🧚‍♂️🌻🌸🌺🌷🐉🌻🌸 ⚔️ .

Enjoying nature, strangers and places. I saw a lot of forget me nots which for me are not common to see here in St. Louis, also I walked one of my favorite streets and I went to the Goodes House.

After doing experimentation with a selfie and mixing a lot of colors and shapes, I have finished this self portrait. You can find some prints or mix media canvas embellishments. 🖊🎨

I have been spending these days painting small canvases, after being hooked with this style of brushstrokes I can say I can feel it so natural, organic, like just flowing from my hands like energy passing through my fingers to the canvas. I can’t wait to explore many subjects! Meanwhile today I have made this floral still life. 🎨👩🏻‍🎨❤️.

This one is very special, it took me a nice amount of time exploring with colors and doing color extraction. This style of painting brings me a lot of joy and I just want to turn everything like this 😁 once you start with color extraction nothing is the same and you start looking all around like a crazy color explorer. Like if your pupils were dilated and the colors just changes. I could explain this better in Spanish and in person 😂 so I will stop now. 🙏🏻🎨.

Painting from last night. It’s funny to be at the studio just with a tiny light and all the colors, I’m used to work during the day but I have found a lot of joy by painting during nights lately. It’s funny too because my sight is not perfect and during night the colors looks different. It’s cool to wake up and see how it looks actually under daylight. 😄🎨👩🏻‍🎨.

Happy with this landscape, I painted it during nighttime and I finished in the morning, this one has been so fluent and joyful to do. I still have a bunch of 8x10” canvases and I can’t wait to paint the next one 😀👩🏻‍🎨🎨.
