What does that mean? Well, a freebie is something that is given without cost, something free and what better than something to feed and cultivate your creativity. I love sharing tutorials and teaching what I know.

I remember when I was a child, in Mexico I loved to watch a program called ¨Cositas¨ where Aunt Cositas explained to you how to create something fun, it was like a mini art class and I always felt I identified with her, I also began to make crafts or paintings for me or to give as gifts. To date I feel like The Aunt.

Ok, back to the reality!

Now I have this pace where I can share with you tutorials to make creative things like HOW TO paint with different techniques or how to create something artistic.

The freebies are a great way to relax, explore and learn and I am super happy to share it with all of you.

THE GREEN CLOTH AND THE FOX

 

Last week I was advancing my painting, I started the fabric of the dress and the fox, I am still working on the fox but these are the layers that I have made for the moment. Painting in oil of my favorite techniques and I honestly like to paint any style. My reference image is realistic, however I will give it a more impressionistic and somewhat modern finish by making color alterations.

I am working near the window and I love the light that autumn gives us, it quite invites me to want to spend all day painting, but I also dedicate time to various activities, including working on other paintings, sometimes I like to concentrate on a single piece and other times to make alternate paintings, it helps me to have a better visualization jumping from one work to another.

MUSES

Hello! As some of you already know, I have been making calendars for 6 years, so 2021 is not the exception, for 2021 I made 2 calendars with my illustrations, but in this post I want to show you the one I called MUSES. Muses contains 12 images of my paintings and they are a great way to collect one per month. This calendar is available and you can get it HERE

TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN

10 days ago I started this sketch, resting a bit from the large format and because I am already running out of space in my studio, so I am taking advantage of my oil block.

I really liked the sketch a lot and I am always AFRAID to go beyond the sketch, apply the color and ruin it, but I know that it is simply part of the process.

I love painting, so finishing a sketch and being ready to add color is like being ready to jump off the highest mountain and fly. Painting increases my power of concentration, it is the point of connection with love, where it simply flows without space or time, even sometimes I forget to stop to eat, although after some bad experiences my stomach already knows how to remind me.

I´M BACK!

 Hi! it´s been a long time, years! but here I am back to give life to this blog again. 

For those who were on hiatus following the blog, I will tell you that I moved to another city and countless things have happened to me, but I have never NEVER stopped creating, on the contrary, I have grown a lot as an artist and I do not think to stop, every day is my new opportunity to continue learning, creating and sharing what I love the most: Design and paint.

I also continue creating my botanical jewelry and I even have my YouTube channel where you can follow my videos and see my process as an artist.

I tell you that I have several blogs...

At first I closed this one because I wanted to focus on a site where I would only publish my painting work, the truth was that it was difficult for me to have everything combined between jewelry, small paintings, fine art, crafts and a little of everything. Then people feel lost in seeing so much variety and not a consciousness of anything in particular, but that's just me! I love doing a thousand things, experimenting and following what my soul dictates to me. So this space, this blog is for me, for you, for those who like to follow each and every one of the many things that I like to do.

I have decided to do this blog as an artist's diary, more personal, with photos behind everything that happens during my process, my thoughts and feelings.
